Biennale of Chianciano Terme. The Biennale of Chianciano was held at the Art Museum from 13th to 27th September. About 160 artists from all over the world with approximately 500 works on display, took part in the Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary Art organized in the Museum of Chianciano. The exhibition has gathered the most important artists and new talents from different parts of the world. The works were selected by the curator of the museum and international experts of art. Giancarlo Scarsi has been included among the artists selected for two exhibitions to be held in London in 2010 at the "Gagliardi Gallery", one of the oldest contemporary art galleries located in London's Kings Road, in one of the most prestigious areas of the city. |

Giancarlo Scarsi awarded in Milan. Second place optained by the artist at the end of the International Competition of painting and poetry AUPI 2009. The winning works exhibited in Milan on 14th and 15th November at the club Alessandro Volta. |

The book "The island is there. A journey into the reality of fantasy" written by Ferdinand Sallustio, journalist and television personality, and illustrated by Giancarlo Scarsi has been published. Included in the book are interviews and reflections of famous people in the world of entertainment, culture, and communication.
